Maya Foster
Maya Foster is a PhD student in biomedical engineering at Yale University. She is interested in developing technological tools that improve the understanding and treatment of incurable neurological disorders. Maya aspires to make the treatment options for such disorders more accessible on a global scale by getting involved with science policy also. Ultimately, in all areas of her interests, Maya wishes to conduct research that’s receptive to the communities she cares about. Maya spends her spare time reading & writing, creating visual narratives, traveling, dancing, playing cello, and running her small online shop on Redbubble that shares messages primarily centered on neuroscience and BIPOC identity.
