Wednesday July 29
#BlackJourneyToNeuro

Wednesday, July 29th is all about your journey in neuro! Share your stories by tagging @BlackInNeuro and using the #BlackJourneyToNeuro hashtag. We’ll amplify your stories to demonstrate how each person has a unique path.

Additionally, join us as we speak with neuroscientists from different career stages to share their path in neuroscience. Three different panels will feature folks with a range of experiences to answer your questions about what it’s like to pursue your career goals while being #BlackInNeuro.

Feel free to ask questions by tweeting them to @BlackInNeuro on Wednesday before the panels start, and tune in live to use the Q&A function! The panels will be recorded and posted on this webpage.

Don’t forget to check out all of our #BlackNeuroMentors who have filled out a profile and indicated they’re open to being contacted for mentorship! Make it a goal on Wednesday to reach out to someone who can help you along your journey.

Our panelists are undergraduates, grad students, postdocs, and professionals in the neuro-sphere and are happy to answer any questions you may have regarding transferring from a 2-4 year college, how to get research experience, landing your dream job and much more.

Scroll through to learn more about our panelists and share the events with anyone you think may benefit from hearing insights from our speakers!
