This is a day for celebrating the beauty of #BlackInNeuro! Share your favorite pictures of yourself working in the lab, or microscopy, artwork and data visualization you’re proud of. This is also a time to showcase your musical talent, dance skills, acting chops, and more. Any form of self-expression is considered art, so get creative!The definition of art knows no bounds; you and your existence are a work of art. Express yourself! Get creative and share your submissions on Twitter or Instagram by tagging @BlackInNeuro with the hashtags #BlackNeuroArt AND #BlackInNeuroWeek!
We’ll also host an art contest with cash prizes sponsored by Abcam, with a very loose definition of art as described above! To enter, simply post your piece(s) on Twitter or Instagram and tag it @BlackInNeuro and #BlackNeuroArtContest, along with any other relevant hashtags!
