Cheryl Santa Maria is a writer and diversity and inclusion advocate based just outside of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In July 2019 she started a website called werepstem.com, aimed at celebrating, amplifying, and supporting minority voices across all STEM fields. She is a firm believer that inclusion will make the world a better place, and spends nearly all of her spare time taking a sledge-hammer to racist, sexist, patriarchal, and oppressive systems.
